Reasonable Atheists to overrun Kansas and Kamloops.

Yup, hide the beer and lock up your pet hamsters, the EVIL REASONABLE ATHEIST CONSPIRACY is going to hold a pep rally in Lawrence Kansas and another in Kamloops, British Columbia. Groupies will have to decide on which to attend since they are on the same weekend, though. I got the following email from Conrad Hudson yesterday about the Kansas meeting:

I’m happy to announce the first annual ReasonFest, presented by the KU Society of Open-Minded Atheists & Agnostics (SOMA) featuring a debate between Dan Barker and John-Mark Miravalle on “Does God Exist?” and a full day of secular speakers including Darrel Ray, Tom Clark, Hemant Mehta, James Underdown, and Annie Laurie Gaylor.

Below is a link to the media release, I would be happy to answer any questions you might have and would be most grateful for your assistance in letting your readers know about this free event. A promo video can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PYBWMWQvD8 and information can also be found at http://www.facebook.com/reasonfest We are very excited to bring this line-up to the both the mid-west and national secular community and invite any and all join us in the Kansas Union at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS.

SOMA will conclude the event at a local club with a social gathering to raise money for Douglas County Aids Project, a local charity with the mission of providing supportive and responsive care for a diverse community affected by HIV/AIDS.
